We have available two adult Sunday school classes as well as a children’s Sunday school class. All age groups are currently going through Answers Bible Curriculum from Answers in Genesis. Whole Bible. Whole family. Whole truth.
We hold our Sunday worship service in the Family Life Center (the metal building behind the original sanctuary). Our service includes worship in song, worship in giving, worship in the hearing of the Word, worship in responding to the Word and closes with worship in song.
We begin our midweek service by taking prayer requests and praises to offer up to the Lord. We are led in praying over these lists as well as for the missions and missionaries supported by our church. One of our Pastors is then diligent to teach the Word of God, verse by verse, through a specific book of the Bible.
We are currently in the book of 2 Peter.
At Luthersville Baptist we seek to create an environment where families grow stronger and closer to the Lord together. Children of all ages are included in the corporate worship services, with their families, listening to the word of the Living God being proclaimed as well as participating in the worship in song. In our society, family’s are often segregated throughout the week. We are sensitive to this and services at LBC are where families grow together in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Noise is a sign of life and growth. It is expected and normal. If your child is very active you may have to step outside or into the hallway with them at some point during the service and that is ok, but please come back! Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
